Expected and Supported Input

The note range currently supported goes from C0 to B8 (standard piano range), the notes of your tunings need to be in this range. Every note should come with its octave number at the end. If you are not certain of your instruments octave feel free to use the tuner functionality to figure it out. You can choose to paste a tab in the input field or open a .txt file which contains a tab. From your input tab only lines with the following format are processed: |--------------------------------------| All the lines with the above format need to be of the same size. Currently pull-of, hammer-on and slide notations are not supported so they will not translate to the generated tab.

Transformation Options

Currently the only option you can control in the tab conversion process is by how many semitones you would like to move the tab. It can be either higher, e.g. 4 for moving the whole tab higher by 4 semitones, or lower, e.g. -4 for moving the whole tab higher by 4 semitones. In the case that the number does not correspond to a tab note range that your instrument can play you will get an error back.
